Audio: Reorienting Teens to the Truth Social Media Distorts

In this recording of a talk given to mothers and teen girls, ages 7th-12th grade, I identify seven lies of social media that we easily fall prey to. With each lie, I discuss how it deceives and the implications of it. The second part of the talk is a two-step way forward, in which I include proactive, practical ways to reorient our heart and minds to the truth. However, you will not hear the questions referenced to on the slides and handouts. Rather you can find many of those in John Perritt’s book Social Media Pressure.
