In case you missed this fall podcast series, I’m posting the Not Alone series here now. I’m telling you, you want to listen! Even as the interviewer, when I listened back to each of them I was struck again by the wisdom, grace, and truth these three ladies offer in just a half-hour.
In Episode 29: Don’t Mom Alone with podcaster/author Heather MacFadyen we talk about how motherhood brought her to the realization that she couldn’t do it (life, mommying!) alone and how that freed her from trying to look and be perfect. The truth is none of us were meant to go at anything alone. We were made to live in dependence on God and one another. Only we try to be strong in ourselves, and wear masks out of fear of truly being known by others.
In Episode 30: Don’t Suffer Alone with speaker Cari Trotter, who was diagnosed with MS in early 2021, we talk about the call to suffering and coming alongside others in their suffering. If you haven’t heard Cari teach you are in for a treat– this episdoe is chock-full of biblical teaching, scripture, and practical advice.
In Episode 31: Don’t Church Alone with my sweet friend Meg Flowers we talk about why we weren’t meant to do church alone in front of our televisions, what living redemptively looks like in the church, the blessing of diverse relationships, and even brain science as it relates to church!
If these episodes bless you, would you share with a friend? And, an Apple Podcast review would be great too–that’s how others find The Redemptive Parenting Podcast. But in case this podcast is new to you, just know our episodes are infrequent. Only as time permits do new ones go up. However I would encourage you to start back at the beginning with the first Redemptive Living series!
Grace & Peace,
