When I was in middle school I didn’t know anyone personally who used drugs or why in the world someone would. I never even saw a joint until I was in college. But things are different now. Not only is my college student around others who regularly smoke weed, but my high schooler and middle schooler know plenty of people who do too. As an adult and especially as parents of teenagers, this sounds shockingly scary. We wonder, “What’s wrong with these kids?” and “Have their minds gone to pot?” Quite literally.
Today on the Rooted Ministry site, I’ve written about the gospel foundation we need to lay and the conversations to follow to help shape our kids’ minds about pot. With a quick click, follow me to Rooted here.
