As a professional counselor Kristen works with teen girls, parents, and women of all ages dealing with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, perfectionism, grief, relational conflict, life transitions, parenting and more. While she naturally operates from a biblical worldview integrating faith in counseling, Kristen gladly meets all clients where they are. Kristen believes the most important aspect of counseling is in the therapeutic relationship. Furthermore, because Kristen does not see counseling as a one-fit for all, she draws from several counseling modalities including family systems, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and internal family systems (IFS). She has received training for these modalities, as well as Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), Making Sense of Your Worth, anxiety, grief, trauma, and eating disorder counseling. Kristen is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors.
If you are in the state of Texas and interested in seeing Kristen for counseling, she is an independent contractor at Magnolia Counseling Group in Dallas and you can contact her here.
