In case you haven’t heard, my husband and I launched a podcast this week, and along with it the new Redemptive Parenting website! A little about both–
The Podcast
Our plan for The Redemptive Parenting Podcast is to release a series each season with 3-5 episodes each. It will be the two of us talking parenting through a gospel lens. What you won’t hear are formulas. What you will hear is foundational theology fleshed out for the everyday as we seek to offer you hope in Jesus for the hard.
It will apply to parents in every stage because our hearts are all the same. It’s the messages we wished were more available, so with authenticy and grace we hope to bring it to you in a way that you see we too are in the trenches.
The episode titles for this season are as follows:
- What is Redemptive Parenting?
- Law vs. Grace in Parenting
- Two Categories for Understanding Sin
- Getting the Gospel Straight
- Believing Better, Not Behaving Better.
Perk your ears up? You can find them all on iTunes HERE, or click over to the new website HERE.
But first I want to tell you what else you’ll find at the Redemptive Parenting website.
The Website
I will still do my blogging at kristenhatton.com. The Redemptive Parenting website will house the podcast and serve as a resource site. Already you will find a tab with lots of gospel-centered book recommendations for parents, teens and children. There are also tabs for articles and other resources. These are in processs with the plan to always be adding helpful parenting articles and podcasts on various topics that I come across.
My shop is also set up to link back over to kristenhatton.com but over time I hopt to create and add more Redemptive Parenting products. Of course this takes time and money, which is why I’ve also set up a Patreon account which you can check out HERE if you are interested.
Lastly, the long-range plan after I finish my masters program and become a Licensed Professional Counselor is to add counseling services. That is a ways out but so you know the big plans I’ve got for this!
If you find any or all if helpful, would you please share with a friend and/or write an iTunes podcast review?
Thank you friends.
Growing together in grace,
